Grandvalira will host the Speed Skiing World Cup on the Riberal KL slope in the Grau Roig sector from 2 to 4 April.
The resort will become the epicentre of the world's fastest skiers, who will achieve speeds of around 200 km/h on a course measuring 1,050 m with a breaking area of 45 m and an elevation difference of 200 m. The first day will be set aside for training, while on 3 and 4 April competitors will battle it out in two World Cups in the discipline.
