There is always something new to discover in Andorra and in its natural heritage, making it the perfect stage to invite visitors to experience the intensity and magic of our mountains.
We started out in 1956, when the first ski lift was installed. Since then, each year thousands of people choose to visit Andorra for our snow-covered mountains and stunning landscapes, a total of 308 km of slopes, our mild temperatures and frequent sunny days in winter. Today we can feel proud of the state-of-the-art facilities at our resorts: Ordino Arcalís, Pal Arinsal and Grandvalira guarantee snow for over 60% of the skiable area and provide excellent ski and snowboard schools, a wide range of activities, services adapted to the needs of all customers and an innovative and varied culinary menu.
Ski and mountain tourism group
Grandvalira Resorts Andorra is the leading ski and mountain tourism group in the Pyrenees and the South of Europe. It manages all the Andorran ski resorts: Ordino Arcalís, Pal Arinsal and Grandvalira. Around 2.5 million days’ skiing sold per season place it among the top 5 in sales in the skiing world.
Grandvalira Resorts Andorra is motivated by constant research into making the mountains of Andorra a natural area full of experiences, offering the highest quality snow, the most sunny days during winter, and an area packed with activity and sport during the summer. We believe in our natural heritage as a source of profitable business, attracting people to discover new challenges, experience new adventures and create new memories.
The history of Grandvalira Resorts Andorra could not be written without the Grandvalira resort itself, founded in 2003 with the merger of two of the most emblematic resorts in the Pyrenees: Pas de la Casa – Grau Roig (opened in 1956) and Soldeu-El Tarter (opened in 1964). Since then Grandvalira’s progress has served as an international benchmark among the world’s best loved resorts; it is a guarantee of quality, assurance, trust and safety for a group such as Grandvalira Resorts Andorra, which officially came into existence in 2018 with the inclusion of Ordino Arcalís. As of the 2022–23 season, the inclusion of all the country’s ski resorts will become a reality, with the addition of Pal Arinsal. From this point onwards, Grandvalira Resorts Andorra will no longer be just a union of ski resorts, it will be a nationwide project whose aim is to further strengthen the presence of Andorra in the skiing world.
