The electronic music festival Snowrow, created by elrow, the largest immersive brand worldwide, in collaboration with Grandvalira, returns to Andorra to celebrate its second edition from April 4th to 7th.
Following last year's success, with over 8,000 daily attendees, the sectors of Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig will once again host this unique proposal in Europe, which brings together electronic music, snow activities, après-ski, games for all ages, secret parties, shows, theatrical performances, creative collectives, and sustainable activities with over 8 stages and 30 DJs. The main attraction will be the elrow Festival, featuring a tent with a capacity for 8,000 people and where internationally renowned DJs such as the acclaimed Neapolitan DJ and producer Marco Carola, the Swedish Adam Beyer, captain of the prestigious Drumcode label, and Livorno's DJ and producer Ilario Alicante will gather.
The proposal aims to captivate rowers, music lovers, and athletes of all ages looking to combine sports and music in an unparalleled natural environment such as the Grandvalira resort. In addition, recent snowfalls, which have left nearly 40 centimetres of fresh snow, ensure good conditions on the slopes to enjoy the last days of the ski season in Grandvalira, thus completing the experience of this unique festival.
It is worth noting that weekend passes have sold out, but the last remaining day tickets for both Friday and Saturday are still available.
Four days of programming for all audiences
The festival will last for four days and offers all kinds of activities both on the slopes and in the main space, designed for all audiences, from children to young people, parents, and friends. Each day will feature several proposals from morning to evening, some free and others paid.
The festival will be organized into 3 spaces (The Square, The Festival, and The Slopes) and divided into 2 stages (Day Festival and Night Festival).
Day Festival
The day festival will take place from Thursday, April 4th, to Sunday, April 7th, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and is specially designed for families, with free access to various activities. The daytime program will be spread across The Square and the slopes, specifically at the Refugi del Llac dels Pessons restaurant, Coll Blanc, and the Coma 3 bar.
In La Plaza
La Plaza will be the epicentre of Snowrow. This easily accessible area located in the El Cubil parking lot offers a full agenda of activities. Families will find:
Family Dome: A space where the little ones are the protagonists and families have priority access, with access to a giant igloo, machines, and attractions full of fantasy, bubbles, and lights.
Kids garden: A ski school and space to entertain the youngest rowers in the house, offering theatrical performances, crafts, and games for their first contact with snow and skiing.
Rowlympic Games: Those looking for fun, adventure, and a bit of mischief have an appointment in the competition area on Saturday, April 6th. Two downhill races will be held, the first for families (one adult and one child under 16) and the second for those over 18. Requirements: a good costume and the craziest contraption to descend the slopes. The best staging and the best-customized contraption will vie for various prizes.
And, still during the daytime but for adult audiences, the following will be offered:
Psychrowdelic Trip: A psychedelic caravan turned into a stage at the foot of the slope where international DJs and elrow residents will turn the ski resort into a dance floor.
Slidewayz pool party: On Sunday, the festival will close with humor and plenty of music at the pool party in The Square. Reggae, hip-hop, or disco will be heard while the most daring can try to cross the pool with skis or a surfboard and a good costume.
On the Slopes
The Refugi del Llac dels Pessons Restaurant will host the most adventurous skiers eager to enjoy the spectacle of international DJs, good food, and drink in a Secret DJ Set. In the Coll Blanc area, in Pas de la Casa, the musical offer will continue, but in this case in a privileged setting, over 2,500 meters high and reserved for the most experienced skiers. Finally, Bar Coma 3 in the Grau Roig sector will be the meeting place for those looking to enjoy house and disco music from the La Guarida collective or a representation of the LQTBIQA+ collective, with Ch3lo. The space will be accessible by skiing or with a pedestrian pass.
Après-ski
For those who can't wait for the weekend, in The Square area, there will be an après-ski from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday with free entry upon prior registration.
