Grandvalira, Pal Arinsal, and Ordino Arcalís continue to progressively increase the number of open slopes as maintenance teams prepare them. With recent snowfalls, today's snow, and forecasts for more tomorrow, combined with low temperatures enabling artificial snow production, expectations for this weekend at Andorra’s resorts are high, with good weather and extensive skiing options. Together, the three areas will offer more than 200 km of slopes starting Saturday, with snow depths exceeding one meter in some sectors.
Grandvalira, which began its season last Sunday, has been expanding the number of open slopes in recent days. Today, it offers nearly 80 kilometres of open slopes, with all sectors connected since yesterday. By the weekend, it expects to have 132 kilometres of slopes available, which will continue to expand progressively, with powder snow depths exceeding 100 centimetres.
Meanwhile, Pal Arinsal began its season on Monday with a gradual opening. It currently has 68% of slopes open and 63% of lifts operational, with snow depths of up to 80 centimetres of powder snow. This figure is expected to increase in the coming days, reaching almost 100% of slopes and facilities, including the cable car connecting the two sectors, which will be operational from tomorrow.
Ordino Arcalís, which also started its season on Monday and currently boasts snow depths of up to 100 centimetres of powder snow, plans to open nearly 100% of its slopes and lifts by this Saturday.
Opening condition updates are continuously provided on the websites and social media platforms of the three resorts. Check here the updated snow report for Grandvalira, Pal Arinsal, and Ordino Arcalís.
